username checks out^Oh man ZoomZoom - you’re killing me (in a good way)
I wish Truman (or any developer) would buy the First Canadian Centre site and build the originally proposed 64 storey tower. The foundations are already in - they could build it as residential, I don’t care as long as it’s built to the original design. Then I could die a happy man.
They do shift trades from site to site to try and keep them working on their jobs and nobody else's. They use contractors for a lot of the big stuff, but I'm not sure about the smaller things like plumbing and drywall. With Truman projects, I assume the timing is also driven by their other projects and how they shift trades from one project to the next because they do more of the work in house than contract, that's why I've heard anyways. From a friend that works at a pretty large builder with a presence in AB but primarily in the GTA, Truman is making a bit of a name for itself with the work they're doing in Calgary!
Truman just continues to raise the bar over and over again.....and more coming. There is another high profile project coming down the pipeline.
My mind is racing, as I'm sure anyone's mind is here after reading that. City building wise, I hope it is Westbrook.....and more coming. There is another high profile project coming down the pipeline.
My chips are on FlixBus site east of Centre and 12th. Though the planned Green Line station there is likely to move Northwest with the above-ground alignment, which takes some potential out of the height.....and more coming. There is another high profile project coming down the pipeline.
yeah, westbrook or the parking in front of cowboy casinoMy mind is racing, as I'm sure anyone's mind is here after reading that. City building wise, I hope it is Westbrook.
You know the height by any chance?....and more coming. There is another high profile project coming down the pipeline.
