Great photos, thanks. It's not a beautiful stadium, but I kind of don't mind it. It's growing on me in a utilitarian kind of way. From todays game sold out at full capacity, 45,000
Capacity at the Rogers Centre is 39,000 for comparison.

haha, for sure. I really do think the one thing we are missing is a world class soccer / football / athletics stadium. It’s very Toronto-esque for sure.
The Jays had over 41K out yesterday. Capacity is 42K these days. From todays game sold out at full capacity, 45,000

There is no comparison between BMO and Rogers. Rogers is a real stadium and they have done an amazing job on the renos over the years. Just wish they would do something with the exterior.
One thing this stadium has over all the others in the World Cup is the proximity of the seats to the field. It's really enclosed in there and should create an amazing atmosphere. It looks... ok?
That is a great point. It is one of few if not the only stadium that is soccer specific for the World Cup. It gives me a bit of an old school Premier League vibe, and that is not a bad thing. One thing this stadium has over all the others in the World Cup is the proximity of the seats to the field.
