The Bloor-facing YSL shop at Holt's looks to have shut - obviously makes sense after the flagship opening a couple blocks west. Wonder what will go in here.
According to Retail-Insider, Loewe will be opening in the former Saint Laurent space at Holt Renfrew: https://retail-insider.com/retail-i...ace-saint-laurent-concession-on-bloor-street/
Their location extends into the former Cookery space - which is why that store was relegated to a less desirable and smaller place across from Shoppers Drug Mart no more than a year after opening in an ideal location across the grocery store. That's always a possibility when you're a commercial tenant; it happened to me at the Eaton Centre. CF built us a new office about 15 feet over because they needed our space, and they handled everything. And then later they needed that new space, had nothing to offer us and bought us out of our lease.*Cross-post from Manulife Building thread *
LL Bean opening on the concourse level of Manulife Ctr, in the former LCBO space, 9,500ft2

L.L.Bean to Open New Store at Toronto’s Manulife Centre
L.L.Bean is opening a 9,500 sq. ft. store at Toronto’s Manulife Centre, expanding its Canadian presence in a central retail destination.retail-insider.com
I don't know specifically - but that build-out was barely a build-out; it looked like they just opened shop one day with some tables and called it a day.Their location extends into the former Cookery space - which is why that store was relegated to a less desirable and smaller place across from Shoppers Drug Mart no more than a year after opening in an ideal location across the grocery store. Also the current Tiffany lease brochure is up (150 Bloor); was hoping for some detail in this on other tenants in the nabe but nothing of note that I could spot .

I love that on the map of stores in the brochure they just list 15 Bloor W by it's address rather than admit there's a Fabricland in the neighbourhood. Similarly, Winners/Homesense is just listed as 110 Bloor W. Gotta hide the places the rabble might shop I guess.I don't know specifically - but that build-out was barely a build-out; it looked like they just opened shop one day with some tables and called it a day.
I suspect they are on relatively sweetheart lease teams by Manulife to try and build a more curated tenant list and or the Cookery wanted a lower cost way to expand into the area and test the market. I still miss Williams-Sonoma TBH.

As someone who once regularly did this type of design work, it’s very much intentional. Every commercial real estate agent I ever worked with were afraid to admit things like this in marketing work—even though any interested client is going to visit the area at some point before signing a lease. Every business remotely pedestrian get treated like they’re somehow a dealbreaker. I’ve never understood it.I love that on the map of stores in the brochure they just list 15 Bloor W by it's address rather than admit there's a Fabricland in the neighbourhood. I'm surprised this hasn't already been posted here (unless I'm somehow missing it?), but STOCK T.C. is expanding into a second location here.Appears as though the former Pusateri's location at Bay and Yorkville has been leased (big red "LEASED" banner is now plastered on the window).
First, Second, and Third floors...? This is likely the Gucci expansion? Don't really get it.
