Alberta’s government is defending a hefty bill to replace the carpet in Premier Danielle Smith’s office, after it became a point of attack in question period.

6500 square foot room, Home Depot sells a similar carpet type for $2.69 per square foot. Assuming it's some stupid fancy carpet you can double the price then assume installation was equal to the full price, and you get: $69,940.

Thank goodness our noble leaders want to cut funding to food for cancer patients instead.
