Wait, am I allowed to be angry? Or is this "Rage Bait?"
If she waits as long as possible, Nenshi continues having no seat in the legislature. The "Outside looking in" isn't great from an optics perspective.
There's no way it'll be called sooner unless there is reason to believe the UPC could take Strathcona.
I would guess they will wait as long as possible. It isn't a big deal, but it means he isn't an official MLA during Stampede. So if there is a role for the Official Opposition Leader, such as marching/riding in the parade, it goes to Christina Gray, not Nenshi. If she waits as long as possible, Nenshi continues having no seat in the legislature. The "Outside looking in" isn't great from an optics perspective.

Remember how things are now in 2027 when the provincial election rolls around. The PC/UCP have an extensive history of suddenly acting right in the year leading up to provincial elections.![]()

Jesus...I get a headache every time this buffoon speaks.Sooo…
According to the news this morning:
“The premier said she doesn't think tariffs are directly affecting, in particular, the Dow development, but said tariffs are “clearly impacting the global investment environment,” including energy prices, currency values and stock markets.
“”My sense of it, though, was that this is not related to either tariffs from the Americans or the counter-tariffs from Canada,” she said. “It really is just the global uncertainty that's been created by the tariff war, writ large, in all jurisdictions.””
In other words, it’s not about the tariffs, it’s about the effects of the tariffs. Say what??? The dear lady is gas lighting herself in a single paragraph.

Referendum or confidence vote. Call it.Sooo…
My Premier is inviting my Prime Minister "to immediately commence working with our government to reset the relationship between Ottawa and Alberta with meaningful action rather than hollow rhetoric”.
Perhaps I could invite my Premier “to immediately commence working with our government to reset the relationship between Ottawa and Alberta with meaningful action rather than hollow rhetoric, ultimatums, and aggressive language and legislation“?
Which would be akin to Drumheller-Stettler voting NDPThere's no way it'll be called sooner unless there is reason to believe the UPC could take Strathcona.
Saying so much with so few words. That's the kind of leadership I wish we had in the GoA.
It is the Cree way.Saying so much with so few words.
