I'm not certain that is passable...he struggles reading and he's reading a script. Show me off the cuff...
Watching the French Liberal leadership debate...i can see that he (Carney) must have been practicing, and looks much better. I am much more confident it is sufficient for the French speaking population.

He said he loves Hamas and then switched to English, forgetting he was in the French debate.

I saw someone tweet this, but have forgotten who so I can't link it, but basically, the winner of the debate was Poilievre and Blanchette, because none of the Liberal candidates did themselves any favours with Quebec voters.

The Libs are rapidly closing that massive gulf the CPC had just weeks ago. With Carney as leader I will definitely vote for them again. I was at the point where I couldn't get past Trudeau anymore, but that's no longer a factor.

I'll be voting for my local candidate, as I always do. In the last election, that was Alejandra Bravo (who lost to Julie Derovicz by 0.1%), but she's now the city councillor. I wonder if she'll quit and run federally again. I'd vote for her, and I think she'd have a good chance of winning it. But I'd probably vote for Julie if she didn't run. I voted Liberal in the provincial election because Marit Stiles is going to win in a landslide anyways.

Me too. If Carney wins the next election we can thank Trump for bringing Canadians to their senses about radical conservativism.

The NDP just selected their federal candidate in Davenport, Sandra Sousa.

With the end of the Pax Americana and the postwar rules based order, there is no place in Ottawa for Poilievre. If Canada ever needed an expert economist and globalist it’s now. I’ll support Carney hands down.

Poilievre has never adequately explained why he refuses to get security clearance. That's an extra red flag for me

I'm a LPC member and I voted for Carney. (And yes, the ID verification process is a bit complicated.) Freeland was just too close to Trudeau right until the end, and we need a different economic approach. And frankly, Carney makes Poilievre look even more insignificant.
