The original timelines of 24-36 weeks for many of these….how many weeks have they already been worked on? My sense is that we’re 2 years in to a number of these…unsure how they count the weeks though.Coming to the Feb. 11 Urban Planning Committee:

36 weeks means it could be over 2 construction years like the document mentions. Also I believe this is strictly road works, so sidewalks etc. most of these areas have had utility relocations, duct work, abandonments etc over the last 3 construction years but that might not qualify as “road works”The original timelines of 24-36 weeks for many of these….how many weeks have they already been worked on? Anyone know more? Like are we not at 50-100+ weeks on some of these roads shown to be 36 in the agreement?
The constant bad repaving, redrawing of lines, and rerouting while developing the SE leg was atrocious. So far it seems like the west line has been a bit better, but maybe I'm just not on it enough. My biggest complaint is the lack of quality in the temporary paving they do as work progresses and changes sides. Seems to me it's no more difficult or expensive to do the job correctly. The paving as is, and if you drive these sections you know, bone jarring and vehicle damaging.
Follow-up:I thought they would be, but I double checked the December 3 line-wide notice about upcoming changes, and realized that the work area shading covers the whole roadway, not just the west side they'll be moving to. Perhaps that was an oversight, but maybe they'll actually be closing both sides. There should be a site-specific notice before anything changes though, which will have more details.
