I called Marigold today, and they said that their plan is to re-open the north lanes soon, keep both sides open for the winter, then close the south side next spring to re-build it,
Looks like their plan changed: "Over the coming weeks, throughout the Valley Line West alignment, work sites will flip to the opposite side of the road. To accommodate this, traffic will be shifted away from the new work zones, and most lane and access closures will reopen. Drainage work will commence in the new year and is expected to last until the Spring."

If they go hard in 2025 and substantially complete by end of 2026 to test in 2027, I think they can do it.
It would be great if something could be completed early or ahead of time. It seems to be going smoothly, but from past experience it seems problems causing long delays do not often pop up until close to the end.

A section of the road on 107st in front of the John Deere Building is complete.

Looks great. Makes me wonder what percentage of the construction budget is going towards street realm improvements. Even in the SE, they could've saved money not completely redoing 66 St and 75 St by sticking the tracks on the wide boulevard/median and only improving where the train interfaces with the road. Drivers, pedestrians, and property owners are benefitting from this project directly and indirectly. There are people who would've been happy with Edmonton of the 1980s existing forever, with zero sense of civic pride.
