It’s unfortunate that the 2nd and 3rd floors were not done in curtain wall. The white mullions of the window walls look pretty busy and heavy-handed, and undermines the solid angled fins. And frankly I think it looks cheap.

Recent (February 12, 2025) photos of 88 Bathurst. Of note - the external construction hoist has been taken down to just the podium levels - now just servicing the Equinox fit up and amenity floors.

I’ve warmed up to the building. At first I found the massing overwhelming and wasn’t convinced by the colour. Maybe it’s the cold grey landscape but it works better than I expected.

if you want to like this building, catch it from the gardiner driving eastbound. i didnt manage to grab a photo, but its magnificent. from further out, you fully understand the subtlety in the massing, and see the copper wall cladding behind the guards more clearly composed against the white guards. it's lovely
