To Hydro a week is a normal person's month or more!

Somewhere above someone was obsessing about the old wooden Hydro poles on Queens Quay at Rees/Robertson.

I asked WT and they replied as follows:
"
"Thank you for reaching out to Waterfront Toronto and for sharing your concerns.

For questions or follow-up regarding the remaining poles and wiring along Queen’s Quay, Toronto Hydro has advised that residents connect directly with Shannon Jackson at Toronto Hydro: SJackson@TorontoHydro.com, CCed on the email.'"

I assume that sooner or later they will respond, if/when they do I will post an update but I am sure it will take a while to respond and FAR longer to get the damn wooden poles removed.
To my surprise, I got a response from Toronto Hydro about the wooden poles on Queen's Quay at Rees Street/Robertson Crescent.

"Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your concerns with our internal design teams.

The previous project in this area (Project # C-210071-X10502-HN017) has been reviewed, and I can confirm that all associated scope of work has been completed. With respect to the poles in question, they remain active and cannot be removed. They are currently in use to support traffic signals, street lighting, and provide a secondary feed to a TTC pole.

To help address the visual concerns, I have submitted a request to our Trouble Dispatch team to review the site and take appropriate action, including tidying up the wiring, as soon as possible."

We shall see if their 'tidying up' is obvious!
