The Bay East Teamway’s entrance via CIBC Sauare is open and the doors in the teamway are closed while workers finish the teamway.

The doors to teamway (on the left) are boarded up. Likely that they’ll be converted to windows like the rest of the teamway.

Your pics are better than mine but anyway I’ll post them regardless.

They could probably utilize the Toronto North Station for ALTO which is currently a LCBO.

Build the missing link, take freight service off the Milton Corridoor and put in additional tracks for high speed rail on it and voila.
careful you're going to trigger urbansky lol

I would love to see the building upgraded and renovated with updated street scapes, etc., and used for transportation purposes. I would love to see the TTC move their HQ into here, along with offices for other city transportation services, maybe the main cab company idk. These are just my own thoughts

The AI made the interior of the Dominon Public Building wider than it is out. Someone should tell Dr. Who that he has a new TARDIS.

That said, this is what I've thought of as well, except the platform would need to be underground to cut under the Esplanade from the rail corridor.

I posted this in another thread. I’m the one who created the Ai proposal. Obviously it’s conceptual, in reality a lot of changes would have to be made to the platforms, but I firmly believe it’s possible and doable if they chose this site for the ALTO station. Although challenging ,I think it’s smarter than doing it at Union, where we’ve spent over a decade with a construction mess and it isn’t even done and more is coming. 1 Front St would be much less disruptive and still act as an extension of Union. The train tracks would likely need to be tunnelled to preserve the high speed , but it could also use the existing VIA/GO tracks behind CIBC square. Either underground or elevated (likely underground )

just an fyi Alto has said they need at minimum 4 of 300m platforms. It is not possible unless they share the go train shed

Your pitch here seems to lack contextual awareness. You're building a new station in the existing corridor and the Dominion Public building is just a huge lobby that requires crossing over a bridge, through a newly built private office tower complex. The building loses its purpose, you don't need an entire city block for an entrance to a bridge.

That's also not what the AI drew for you. In fact, the AI drawing is impossible given that the tracks would need to go through condos and Meridian Hall on the Esplanade to make it through the Dominion Public Building at ground level. The only way something approximating this happens is if the Alto tracks are in a tunnel 30 to 40ft below the Dominion Public Building.

Crop circles continue to come and go in the Great Hall with no discernible work done. May the little green men bring more effective city management.

They are very obviously making temporary repairs to the flooring - the caution tapes stuck to it are gone and there is 'cement'. The floors will e properly fixed later in the year when the tiles arrive from Tennesee.
