But surely this, of all rooms, should not have modern lighting.
It’s not. The whole point is introducing a more fitting lighting system for the room, which includes a lighting package for the walls that highlight the heritage elements of the hall:

After it’s done it should look something like this, but with chandeliers:

Great!

Though the harsh blue LEDs still stick out in the images. I can't say I noticed it standing there though ...

Well, they look blue to me - but sometimes my green/blue is a bit funny. What colour do you see? Though I do spy a green LED to the right.

Oh what lol we’re not talking about that, we’re talking about the lighting on the roof

Edit: Reading back I think I misunderstood your earlier message, if I did that’s on me!

I tried the new Miznon place. It's fresh and delicious, but how many people can afford a $22 pita regularly? I get that the train station is not the place to go for the cheapest lunch, but this seems miscalculated.

I finished mapping out the next area of Union!

This layer represents the existing Subway platform level and the proposed expanded Streetcar/LRT platform level:

Now that I’ve completed 50% of this project, I thought it would be a good idea to make a directory showing how all 14 maps are supposed to stack together, and which ones I’ve completed:

Is the emergency exit that comes out on to the west side of Bay street staying and if so where does originate at platform level on this map?
Im not sure what emergency exit you’re referring to. There’s one on the east side of Bay Street leading into 81 Bay, which hasn’t been marked in the most recent circulation map, but I assume the exit is still there:

You can see it on this older map:

I mean this structure on the west side:

Since you can't enter at street level I always assumed it was for emergencies.
