I must have taken this by accident while shooting some family.
I thought they got rid of the gun range at Union Station?

It’s not. The whole point is introducing a more fitting lighting system for the room, which includes a lighting package for the walls that highlight the heritage elements of the hall:But surely this, of all rooms, should not have modern lighting.

What harsh blue LED’s?Great!
Though the harsh blue LEDs still stick out in the images. I can't say I noticed it standing there though ...

Oh what lol we’re not talking about that, we’re talking about the lighting on the roofWell, they look blue to me - but sometimes my green/blue is a bit funny. What colour do you see? Though I do spy a green LED to the right.

Is the emergency exit that comes out on to the west side of Bay street staying and if so where does originate at platform level on this map?I finished mapping out the next area of Union!
This layer represents the existing Subway platform level and the proposed expanded Streetcar/LRT platform level:

Im not sure what emergency exit you’re referring to. There’s one on the east side of Bay Street leading into 81 Bay, which hasn’t been marked in the most recent circulation map, but I assume the exit is still there:Is the emergency exit that comes out on to the west side of Bay street staying and if so where does originate at platform level on this map?
I mean this structure on the west side:Im not sure what emergency exit you’re referring to. There’s one on the east side of Bay Street leading into 81 Bay, which hasn’t been marked in the most recent circulation map, but I assume the exit is still there:

Since you can't enter at street level I always assumed it was for emergencies.
The chandelier in 1949- interesting that the actual light fixtures have changed but the mount is still original. Makes me wonder how dim the original lighting of the Great Hall would have been. The lighting in question: View attachment 633717
