Is there a timeline for the Great Hall lighting update? And is DGA still working on it? The current lighting is incredibly depressing, especially compared to something like Grand Central in New York.
When are they going to fix all the broken floor tiles?

Plus what's going on with that boarded off section between the doors heading out to Front St.?

The City keep telling me 'it's on the list'. When? Who knows!
Well..... I asked my contact in Real Estate Services (who has now been promoted but is still involved with Union Station) and he just told me: "Rest assured these have not been forgotten. We have been having internal meetings about these recently and hope to have updates in the near future." This is the most optimistic message I have ever had from him about this so .....

I feel like it’s been forever since the signage went up, at least it’s finally opening:

Taken 25 January. I believe that except for the supermarket space all of the units are now leased. And Würst upstairs.
Not yet but it’s close! Besides the ones you’ve excepted the corner unit directly across from Harvest is currently unoccupied, as well as one market stall and the 3 units below the market stalls:

Unoccupied units are represented by light grey

Thanks for the map! Just a note - to my red-green colour-blind eyes, I cannot detect a difference between occupied vs unoccupied stalls. They all look "light grey" to me.

It's not a big deal - my life doesn't depend on this information, and most people don't care about this stuff - but if you want to make maps that are more colour-blind friendly, consider making sure colour differences have a different tonality as well. I often rely on tonal differences to "see" colours.

But feel free to ignore this information! As I said, it's not a big deal. Thanks for sharing your hard work with us!

Here's guidance from the American Society for Cell Biology for use of colour in scientific papers. The same principal applies to any figures, tbh. (I'm not colour blind, but accessibility is important!!)

@PL1 TIL, I'm not colour-blind but I didn't realize it was that much more common for males.
As many as 8% of males and 0.5% of females have some form of color-blindness, the most common being difficulty in perceiving the difference between the colors red and green.

Am I the only one who feels like the escalator set up to go down the to the Market when exiting from the old SBA (ACC) "blue route" is poorly placed. Especially when combined with the small set of steps to get up to the GO Bay Concourse proper.

Crowds seem to congregate in the small space in front of the escalators. Obviously trying to figure out where to go and it causes congestion. I feel like the escalator should have been set up a bit further back from the doors to allow more room for circulation. Or, better yet, combine the down escalator and the small up stairs into one so that those heading to the GO trains don't have to cut diagonally between the crowds heading down/standing around.

I remember when the NFL introduced their "colour rush" uniforms (they had each team wear a uniform that was a single colour, head to toe). One night they had one team in red and one team in green, and a sizeable portion of their fan base couldn't tell the two teams apart.
