Yes, they are clearly a lot of work to do but the maps LOOK more useful than they are if one actually tries to use them. Can I suggest a north arrow to help one figure out the location? Maybe bounding street names as well?

Not to be unhelpful, but maps are usually a navigation aide and I am not sure that just 'looking nice' (as they do) is enough reason to spend so much effort making them. They aren’t for navigation, I never intended them to be used in that way
Booooo you’re no fun.Not to be unhelpful, but maps are usually a navigation aide and I am not sure that just 'looking nice' (as they do) is enough reason to spend so much effort making them.

I really like your station maps. When you're done, you should pin them somewhere handy like the UT transit glossary for easy reference. They aren’t for navigation, I never intended them to be used in that way
Man, that takes me back. I haven't been on Infiltration in awhile, but I used to devour that website in the early 2000s when working at the library at U of T. Thanks for the nice reminder of a simpler time, @Mind_the_gap
And yes, RIP Ninjalicious. A kind soul, taken far too early.
I came across this cool video from 1973, and was wondering if this was footage of the former Union Station-TTC connection?Someone posted this very interesting page on Reddit, it’s a bunch of stories and photos of unseen and abandoned areas inside Union Station in the 90’s: http://infiltration.org/utility-union.html
Crazy that this abandoned hallway was just allowed to flood like this, yikes!
The whole goal of this project is to recreate the types maps posted below in a consistent style, so there’s a single unified style representing the entire station. Keeping track of which retail units are occupied is another use.Not to be unhelpful, but maps are usually a navigation aide and I am not sure that just 'looking nice' (as they do) is enough reason to spend so much effort making them.
I can absolutely do that, can you give me a link to the transit glossary?I really like your station maps. When you're done, you should pin them somewhere handy like the UT transit glossary for easy reference.
The City keep telling me 'it's on the list'. When? Who knows! Is there a timeline for the Great Hall lighting update? And is DGA still working on it? The current lighting is incredibly depressing, especially compared to something like Grand Central in New York.
