Not 'The Well' strictly speaking.....but adjacent and very much tied into.....is the public realm makeover of Draper Street coming this year.

A report to the next meeting of TEYCC deals with the niceties of legal parking.......but shares some other details as well.

Not clear to me.....is whether the road is getting interlock.

I imagine @AHK would know.

Not for $500K. Some good, simple, improvements here, but nothing as dramatic as a full resurface / upgrade.

There are also improvements secured as part of Lifetime's 485 Wellington that aren't accounted for here and I assume more would come from Wolf / SmartCentre's 467 Wellington whenever that one gets fully sorted out. Coordination is key here.

As described in the report, the $500,000 is only for the improvements that necessitate the parking changes.

There is a separate pot for full road reconstruction.

The report does not say how large that pot is....

Right, we're saying the same thing. That report doesn't deal with reconstruction, hence the budget doesn't contemplate it.

More broadly, I don't think anyone knows that. They'll likely not even have a hard budget and will just go to open tender, then completely overpay for the work. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me 21098092850932850293582309582305 times, shame on...me.

Programming at The Well is really ramping up with a storytelling festival being hosted in the event space beside Wellington Market.

Little question: I have been to the event space on the lower level but am wondering if there is another, larger space with nifty dome of sorts?
