In regards to a Pickleplex, where would this be going? Empty office space? Btw the plaza where the rink is will be a beergarten soon!

Voila, new Pickleplex in lieu of the ice rink. Just changed the top layer!

I’m German. Where is my Biergarten after playing this modern version of tennis called pickleball supposed to be ?

The Well’s online directory suggests the Pickleplex is just a pop-up, which will run until May 4th. Then it will become the National Beer Garden.

Impressive seasonal coordination if you ask me.

Taken 8 April. Where did all the people who were convinced that this place would be a huge failure go? 🤭

In all seriousness it looks like concern over winter weather driving away shoppers didn’t materialize. And did I read on this thread that Google has taken space in the office tower? Finally I am looking forward to the final Cormier park to begin construction connecting this place to King Condos but it may be awhile.

BlackToe has two very successful locations already, and is expanding to Ottawa out west, too. Great store, great people/owners

I was at the Well on Sunday March 30th for high tea at The Dorset, & my friend (unprompted) said how much she loved the indoor-outdoor vibe even though it was cold & rainy that day. It was also pretty packed everywhere. I don't think this mall is suffering for clients, though personally I would love for the stores to be smaller yet more plentiful.

There really is such a missed opportunity for a pickle making company to sponsor these!

The Strub's Pickle Plex.......
