How do we think this plays out with the last tower? Does the crane come down? Does it convert to rental, and they build it?

They wait to see how quickly they fill the two towers and plan accordingly.

In my humble opinion, Hamilton could use more rental towers. There's a ton of old stock but not too much new for a city approaching 700,000 (currently somewhere near 650k)

It's hard to believe the two towers alone will be 600+ units of residential, add in the third--if it ever gets built and over 900 units on one parcel in downtown Hamilton. wowzas!
So much residential density is being added to downtown in a short period of time. I love to see it!

Wonder what they'll use that platform area for in the meantime until they build it.. seems like a waste of space.. can always use it as a patio..

Maybe they can hold a public barbecue there and invite you to give a talk on the value of cornices in modern urban developments.

Can't believe I am gonna say this.. but the brick podium does look odd, esp. with that floating piece on the top right - ruins the illusion of it being "structural".. I feel this one shoulda been kept ultra-modern from top to bottom.

Ya I'm not sure why they decided to not continue the brick, opting for spandrel panels instead. They should have continued the brick further. The brick that does exist looks quite good though.

Are you guys talking about this section I circled and added squiggly lines? Are they not going to put the fake brick there still I just assumed they were not done? The spot where I put two lines I take more issue with, my OCD is going haywire that those spandrel panels are not perfectly lined up! lol
