Wow this is taking so long to hit the ground level. Any word on financial difficulties with Lamb Developments?
Not that I’ve heard. While it does appear that only one level has been poured from late January to early May, it’s worth remembering how deep and complex the foundation works needed to be here. The site is on an old sand bar.Wow this is taking so long to hit the ground level. Any word on financial difficulties with Lamb Developments?
If they keep this construction pace up they will clear the condo downturn whenever it ends next year, the year after, or ...Not that I’ve heard. More immediately, the construction season has just truly started recently with the good weather. A sign of slowdown would be fewer workers, but I can’t say if that’s been the case. I will hold off my concern for another month or two; If they aren’t at or above-grade by then, we might have some issues.
This is a pretty normal pace. Underground levels taking about a month each is fairly standard and this has 5 of them. It's maybe a little slow, but hardly concerningly so. The underground garage here is simply unusually large.Wow this is taking so long to hit the ground level. Any word on financial difficulties with Lamb Developments?
It really is huge. More units than the twin towerThe scale of this development is unbelievable. Eager for this one to take shape.
I've already gone through 1 receivership this year so maybe I have a little PTSD. City is also forcing Lamb to tear down 21 John Street in Hamilton and he struggling to find financing. Trying to be optimistic but there are some signs I can't ignore. We will see how fast things pick upRelax, there is an army of guys out there today forming. Once they hit the ground the floors will fly up. Just look at Design District they were doing a floor a week.
