I think most of the older apartment buildings are rental, and many of the big ones are run by City Housing. South of Main and between Queen and James I think the larger condos that went up prior to the latest "boom" include Bentley Place, Core Lofts, and City Square... I may be missing some and there are probably smaller buildings that are condos or freehold (Sandyford Place for example; I'm not sure if that's still a condominium) but there are lots of rental units in that part of the city.

Huh, the one on the left clearly has a lower ground floor, but it's not noted for being so...

yes, left tower looks like it's a bit taller due to grades but there is nothing to indicate by how much. Nothing more than 1-2 metres.
