I honestly think the Rogers Centre is decent, at least for a generation. They should do two fairly easy things though...
  • Give something back to the city and rename it Rogers SkyDome
  • Work on animating the outside a bit. Player statues, working fountains, ivy growing on the concrete, an outdoor viewing area, etc.

I know they'll never make it the Rogers Skydome because they're afraid everyone would just omit the Rogers part but it truly would be the best PR opportunity for Rogers possible. Such an easy win for a company who aren't exactly loved.

Another Jays victory, 6-2!

Series tied 2 -2 now... guarantees a return to Rogers Centre for Friday night. (Halloween)
I made it to the viewing party at the dome today and it was awesome! Looking forward to going again tomorrow.

How does one get in to said viewing party? Free I assume? Or like everything else does our friendly telecom charge up the ying yang for this too?

I was thinking about the las vegas sphere, and wondering if the inside roof of the rogers centre could be turned into something similar.
You could project a blue sky on to it and call this feature a skydome.
Having this feature to display anything during a game would make the Rogers centre the best stadium in the MLB.
Imagine watching a baseball game and up above you see the northern lights or a space nebulae. or just showing some crazy stuff between innings.

The Sphere has been losing unbelievable scads of money, so there's no way in he-double-hockey-sticks that anyone is going to spend the money on what would admittedly be a very cool led ceiling.
