Jays win another one 6-1! now up 3-2 over the Dodgers. 🥳

It will be at the Dome!

What I’ve noticed over this series is how iconic the dodgers stadium is. It is surrounded by a sea of parking lots and although it could be facing a skyline it just faces some generic sky. But these two decisions make it super energetic. Lots of atmosphere. The Roger’s centre tonight on the other hand was a corporate soul less concrete bunker. No wonder we’re not considered a world class city
A skyline? Do you mean downtown LA? That is SSW of Dodgers Stadium, and no MLB stadiums face that direction, I assume because of the direction of the afternoon/evening sun setting in the S/W.

I didn't realize Toronto isn't considered world -class. That's the opposite of what I've heard countless times.

If we’re considered world class recently it’s only because we now have 100 floor towers. Before that we were a bunch of losers. I know that because when you went to the distillery there was nyc art and photography. Because truly torontonians deep down know that’s the place to be.

No, Toronto is generally understood as world class...personal opinions may differ on that though.

Toronto considers itself "world class" where the rest of the world has never used or heard of the term. If you have to make up a term to justify your place in the world, then it makes you petty.

I think Dodger Stadium is a visually cool stadium and the early evening shots of the sunset and palm trees is very unique amongst MLB ballparks. I get the feeling that the upper stands are rickety, though, and need some updating. The outfield area looks more updated similar to SkyDome's new outfield bars and social areas.

Because of the orientation of MLB parks the NY teams are deprived of having a cool vista of Manhattan. Even the former Dodgers and Giants parks in NY and Brooklyn didn't have much of a view and wouldn't have one today, either. There are some truly cool views, Detroit and Pittsburgh come to mind, but I think Toronto ranks pretty high amongst teams and will go higher once more buildings peek into view with the dome open.

The most charming stadium with the best atmosphere in Cleveland where players would rather play than Toronto faces the city. I have no idea the direction but they face the city. All I know is that this stadium is so iconic and so energetic that an orange Florida fan man has made sure to be at every LA game. That’s how good the Dodgers stadium is. That’s why that cool Japanese pitcher hit her chose there. It’s an iconic atmosphere stadium vs a concrete bunker that can’t even gets its name right.
Marlin Guy has been going to World Series games behind home plate for years, regardless of team.

Japanese/Korean players like playing for teams along the Pacific Coast because it's geographically closer for them vs playing out east.

Had Ohtani been given a competitive team with the Angels, he likely would have stayed in Anaheim. Dodgers ownership practically gave him a blank cheque for a contract.

Hopefully the cheers will be loud enough to drown out any stragglers here not impressed with the renovations.

IMHO, the park has looked great on TV6, inside and out and as much as one might like to grumble about the front office, it's pretty hard to deny that Shapiro is very close to being able to declare Mission Accomplished and play with house money for a while.
