Will there be public parking in this project to replace what was lost?

Weren't these parking spaces owned by the condo owners next door?

I'd be very curious to learn how they handled the sale and redevelopment of the property. Was it a majority decision by the condo corporation or did everyone have to agree to sell their parking space, with possibly the promise that they'd get a spot in the new building?
 
I've wanted that parking garage gone for years. So glad to see it demolished. This will do wonders for Harbour's walkability.

I wish they'd reduce those 3 lanes to 2. Having a merge lane isn't compatible with a safe urban street. The right lane off the Gardiner should be a mandatory right turn lane. Crossing on that crosswalk, it's rare the time I don't witness near misses and improper last minute lane changes.
