Solid material may be brought in for other equipment, like the horizontal drilling rigs, to use for stability. 55 Charles did it too. Basically, it's insurance that the pit wont become muck if it rains to ensure things keep moving.

They'll probably reuse it for the ramp too.

I love watching this building go up and can't wait to see the deep excavation of the 95 storey tower as you can see in the photos up above !

This is what I expected the glazing on 1 Yorkville to look like. The stuff 1 Yorkville ended up using is nowhere near as nice as this.

^ yeah Phase 1 has got a pretty small footprint... will look very tall at (only) 217m.

Gonna love this angle when SkyTower nudges up beside CIBC Square (Phase 3 might eventually block a good chunk of cibc).
