I guess it depends what "New Station Structure" in 2026-27 means. Does that mean the new structure is built out enough to replace the temporary bridge so that they can remove it while they finish construction? Because otherwise removing a bridge that isn't even in the way seems like it's just gonna make operations at the station worse for a while, but then again it's Metrolinx so maybe they just don't care.

As an aside, looking at that diagram, I hope at some point we move the streetcar stop closer to the station (either via moving/redesigning the loop or by adding the Waterfront West extension), because that transfer as it is currently shown sucks.

I've never seen anything about that bridge staying until the new station opens.
Hmm, I figured this meant the new bridge/concourse may open for public passage before it’s complete. I can’t see any reason to demolish the temple bridge any sooner.

Now looking at some of your previous drone shots, I’m seeing the biggest crane on rails would pass right through the space where the new street bridge will run (entering the concourse from the north). This makes me think that bridge section may be the last built structure. It’s all rather confusing especially with little info about TBM operations, I look forward to finding out more from the open house.
