Looks like Metrolinx is just not capable (or even cares to honour) its commitments to keep the communities they’re operating in. Safe or clean. What a disgusting mess everywhere with graffiti starting to take over their alleged “graffiti proof” surfaces. I get that construction is messy but this is next level and their lies about using graffiti proof materials have already come to roost

Unacceptable construction waste strewn about but I have to say in today's economic climate, I wouldn't be surprised if the "graffiti proof" walls were the first to go in the value engineering exercise. What was contracted out years ago probably had sky rocketing price escalation. Honestly though I wouldn't waste my energy nitpicking on graffiti. In the grand scheme of things this project is much better executed vs line 5.

Hopefully once they finish these elevated segments it can put the naysayers to rest about the merits of building above ground. Then again given the longtime fetish toronto has with subways, im not holding my breath

Go spray a swastika on top of any graffiti you don't like and the city will be there to clean it up right away.

No joke, I've been seeing that in the Annex and Yorkville on my walks: swastikas on tags and socialist/communist posters one day, and gone the next. To paraphrase Buckley's cough syrup: it's ugly, but it works.

I suspect that the picture was taken with a zoom camera from a smartphone lens and augmented by AI which artificially sharpens the image such that it kinda looks more like an impressionist painting to me!

Especially the top half of the picture.

No ai altering/editing . Just snapped the picture quickly so it is not in focus

Image apps with picture sharpening feature have been around for decades. We used to call it "photoshopped". Not every bloomin' modification or enhancement you see, is AI !!

The newer phones with 100x zoom features are being touted as AI enhanced by the phone companies themselves. Hence my comment.
