The photos are only possible due to Mahatma Gandhi who spearheaded the Indian independence movement.

After all, this statue was originally in Kolkata until shortly after independence in 1947, when the statue was moved to its present location in Queen's Park in 1969.

Thus, it is most appropriate to thank Gandhi for making these fun photos possible.

Wow, I did not expect my last photo from Balmuto Street to foreshadow the above conversation about the King Edward VII equestrian statue at Queen's Park. At one point, I heard Shawn Micallef mention about its history during a tour of Queen's Park, and how Canadians maintained loyalty to the British Crown even after Indian independence.

Anyways, here are a couple photos I took of One Bloor West today:
