Let's play a game:

One of the photos has been retouched using the Clean Up tool in the iOS Photos app courtesy of Apple Intelligence. Spot which photo and where in that photo has this tool been applied.

Do you mean at street-level?
Will depend on who the main floor tenant is. Lots of people still hoping for Apple, but I think that ship has sailed.
Maybe the new government will finally let foreign telcos in and we’ll get Orange there instead.

I don’t know Apple’s retail strategies, but seeing as they pretty much built it for them. I could almost see Apple taking a second glance at it upon completion. I guess the thing I didn’t get is- what was Apple losing? It’s not as if they had money in the deal right? Building reputation? Shouldn’t matter. Scheduling? It’s not like they built elsewhere since backing out. So unless they’re still fussy about seamless glass or whatever- maybe they take the space when it’s done?

Nonetheless. Glass walls. Dead wide sidewalks. Feels like a big disappointment for such an important intersection.

Photos taken today, Friday (Jan. 17). Since I posted a week ago, no visible progress at the top of the tower, where work continues on the 4th mechanical levels, up around floors 77 & 78. The last of the blue scaffolds below on the corners has moved up to join the three others around level 68. A fair bit of progress with the black Rail Climbing Systems (RCSs) installing the skin. The east RCS is up two floors to level 52, matching the highest level of installed glass/cladding on the south face. The north RCS is up a level to 50 as far as I can tell, while the west RCS remains at level 49. Meanwhile, scaffolding on the 3rd mechanical level corners are being taken down, presumably in preparation as the RCSs soon hit that level.

Starting with the view from Yonge Street to the south from Dundonald, then closer to Charles with some detail of the rising east RCS and south face, with reflections of light. A very vertical view from across the street on the Yonge side. Then the view from by Holt Renfrew on Bloor east of Yonge, with a tighter shot of the west face showing the scaffolds mostly removed at the 3rd mechanical level, the RCSs immediately below. The view from Cumberland east of Bay with tighter shots showing the north and west RCSs and workers at the 1st mechanical level. Several views from Bloor and Yonge, at the NE corner and a bit east, including a closer view of the east and north RCSs, having moved up this week. And finally, the south west view from Queen's Park Cres. W, north of Hoskin.

Agree with xmyth_ that it’s possible the fruit company will still end up here. Unless they’ve given up on the idea of a Toronto flagship completely, they haven’t moved forward with anything else.
