Ugh... if you can't do real brick slip precast just go with a smooth red finish and make the panels thicker. The stamped / stained concrete is hardly ever convincing. I hope these at least get an additional coat of red after application because the current colour looks really flat and muddy.

It's a shame - the south side will be sun bleached within a few years whereas real brick will not fade or discolour the way these will.

I know this is just a commodity investment condo tower but not doing real brick in the distillery district feels very crummy. It’s the one area where real clay masonry in some capacity should be expected.

Sooo glad these guys were the one to apply for and get extra floors. They’ve definitely invested those extra profits into building quality.

...they had to stretch the precast thin like that to make up for those extra floors. The elasticity is quite remarkable here. /s

Huh? You know this thread is for the building with the cheapest possible stamped brick-like precast, and not the one next door with its beautiful, high quality, hand laid masonry right?
