Some action - construction staging update from the city website - December 14th. Still confused as to why they delayed after starting demolition.

The demolition was done without proper permits, City Buildings was notified.

I've reviewed the permits, there is February '25 activity on some, but no build permits are yet in place here. They have about 5 weeks to sort it all if they intend to hit the schedule above.

I visited site back in October/2024, zero activity. I recently visited the site in March/2025, I walked around back of building where the construction fence is. Nothing going on, no workers, no construction activity at all. I'm starting to think this building will not be built especially with the extra cost associated with steel Tariffs i.e. rebar. Just my thoughts as an investor...

In this price drop situation, even though the builder has sold over 70% of the units, it's still quite risky to proceed with construction. I doubt many buyers will actually close on their purchases.
Closing is a long time away. Who knows what rates will be 4 years from now. Things don’t get less expensive. Like I said let’s see if they even proceed with construction

We will find out in a few days as by the construction timeline that was posted above shoring and excavation is due to start April 2025 so we will know if we see equipment start showing up on site in the next few days if we are getting something and if not we can all forget about this thread for another year 🤣🤣🤣

Closing in on mid-April ....

They do not have a shoring permit, and it is not ready for issuance. No foundation permit either, though that one saw someone look at the file in February.

They also don't have drain/site service in place.

Are they keeping the same completion date of q1 2028 or that's going to change? With construction getting more expensive how feasible does this project look?

Given that they got $1500+ psf in just the early rounds I wouldn’t worry too much that they don’t have enough margin even if construction prices were to increase. That aside, I do wonder what is going on with this project.
