The Condo I manage is actually in this picture.
It's so weird to see it from another perspective. I look out to here every day but never actually look from here to my property.
Thanks for sharing!
Obviously some work will stop as it has every year. They will not be pouring concrete or laying asphalt (or planting shrubs) when it's well below freezing. As in the past they will probably continue some of their earth moving activities but .... I doubt that the painting of the Atlas crane would continue though any steel repair presumably could and they can presumably do work inside the old Fire Hall - though it seems odd that they have not yet replaced its roof (something that is best done when it's not too cold.Do we expect a seasonal/weather based stoppage on work for this at some point? I mean, we could likely do all winter at 8 degrees the rate we’re going, but nothing they could plan and rely on
Great shot! Not sure the bridges were 'eye-sores' but they were a possible 'dam' should we ever get a 100-year rain event so clearly it's good they have been removed - the road bridge had been unused since the opening of the Don Valley Parkway in mid-1960s, the Enbridge (concrete) since they put their main gas pipe under the Don about 5 years ago.
...I wish! "Design" Haus is still there last time I checked. >.<Toronto getting rid of one eye sore after another.
This photo shows well where the new pedestrian/cycling bridge will be going. They are supposed to be starting the preparation of the 'landing points' soon..
