Wingstop, First Ontario Credit Union and Kinton Ramen announced as the retail tenants on the building's Instagram page.
IIRC the sports bar was Wendel Clark's (former Toronto Maple Leafs player).Wingstop seems a bit out of place on King William Street. Wasn't there a sports bar that popped up at the Lister Block for like two years before shutting down?
I ditched TD for FirstOntario myself, probably 12 years ago, and would highly recommend! Anyone not yet with a credit union, do consider switching. My partner and I alone will keep Wingstop in business we will take that elevator ride down quite frequently for these wings lol! Also looking forward to Kinton Ramen they have been working hard in their unit for quite some time now. As for First Ontario CU I have been looking for an excuse to ditch TD since I'm not happy with them, the convenience factor would be awesome!
yea Wingstop is an interesting choice for this street. Also, Kinton going in right across from Mystic Ramen is interesting too.Great that the retail is filling in, Wingstop definitely caught me off-guard though.
As someone who lives in this building I can not wait for Wingstop to open, that elevator ride down to get wings will be frequent lol! I'd also like to give a shout out to the new owners of Johns Diner because the previous owners made terrible food the new owners make an amazing breakfast and maybe the best smashburgers in the city which I never saw coming!Great that the retail is filling in, Wingstop definitely caught me off-guard though.
