As others have noted, too, I think that those fastening points on the metal facade are likely going to develop streaks due to the interaction of airborne particles and rain. Hopefully, the building operations and maintenance plan will call for somewhat regular (annual) power washing of the exterior, in addition to window cleaning, to keep it looking bright and clean.
 
but will the reflections melt nearby cars?
I don't see that happening. These are very minimal shifts in the cladding, as in they don't have the contours/scale that would make it ideal for such a strong ray to occur due to reflected light.
