Sorry for derailing the conversation! I was under the impression that the ROM project was done by Frank Ghery (hence the out of pocket reference to this thread) — after some research, I see that’s not the case.

The ROM was Daniel Libeskind. It's kind of funny that he drew up basically the exact same concept for Denver and claimed he was inspired by the Rocky Mountains.
