Rode Line 5 today. Seems like the announcements have been fixed. The volume is now quiter so the speakers aren't exploding. The amount of announcements have also been reduced a bit. Also today the next train arrival screens were accurate.

Now if only they'd do the same on Lines 1, 2, and 4. We don't need to be constantly spammed about TTC taking our safety very seriously.

What are you talking about? What do I have to do with this off-topic post-fest? I've never advocated for slower service. Schedules should be as fast and granular as possible, and maintaining regular intervals between vehicles. Perhaps my comments weren't clear?

Where have I advocated for slower service on Line 5! The only time I've ridden here, I complained that service was too slow, and documented why it was slow and how they should change things.

"Counterpoint after counterpoint". Uhh no. I've made distinct claims. I haven't received proper counterpoints, other than empty statements and attacks. But this is the reaction (just an attack with no substance) I would expect from people when hypocrisy is called out on, which reassures me I've got my point across.
