You're making me hungry.

Every time I see this building I imagine a bronze or gold would've given it that extra warmth in the winter. The upper part being referred to as the "cloud" really fits, because it blends in on a cloudy day...
That’s actually a solid point I hadn’t considered. Perhaps that’s why I keep seeing it as self-storage centre. The cladding just feels uniform and cheap meant to cover large expanses.Overall, I give the upper cladding on this a fail. It looks good on a sunny day, but terribly depressing on a grey day (i.e. all of winter).
It's also monotonous for a block-sized building. They missed a huge opportunity to vary the cladding colour slightly to emphasize the push/pull of the volumes. No comment on the zig-zag window "design"
Despite that, I think the materials are decent quality, the angled panels are interesting, and the building will be good for the neighbourhood. Even better when surrounding buildings hide parts of the building from view so that it doesn't appear as monolithic.
Human storage container for lunkheaded saps who will be in debt the rest of their lives to live hereThis is embarrassing! Who ever designed this, then approved this, and let this be built should all lose their jobs. You've built public a storage building. Horrible
