A blue-gray? A charcoal-gray? How light? How dark? (I appreciate the response; we'll only know the effect once it's up!)

RAL 7049 Traffic Grey is the actual colour of the coating being used.
Though, with the low-E coating on surface 2, it will appear even darker than what you see online.

That's a nice gray. Not too cool, but with atmospheric reflection, it'll read as such on a clear day.

Lanterra just announced on their Instagram that a new fine dining restaurant is going in the base. The 3rd photo appears to provide a new rendering of the base with the new restaurant in place:
