This is going to be such a sorry, sad, and pathetic build.

It's a damn shame we didnt get the last proposed phase of Brookfield Place built back when the company actually had some pride in what they were building.

Also to add, there's no point keeping the facade of the exiting building for this gutter trash that Brookfield is intent on building.

Crazy - every interesting aspect of the original proposal has been watered down or removed entirely... The angled beige panels on the tower facade? Gone. The dark green window trim and metal panels on the tower? Also gone. Unique and elegant stepped massing? Gone.

Toronto gets what it deserves!

Au Pain Doré - bakery cafe. Can only see our patio area.

Unfortunately that Pain Doré - is not as good as the ones I used to patronise in Montreal 20+ years ago. Maybe none of them are or my 'remembered tastes' are better than they actually were. We were really looking forward to it opening and after several visits have given up.

The revised design is 40-storeys and 480 units (16 of which remain designated ARH)

As for "why the chop?", this is the reason presented in the cover letter:

Or perhaps they just wanted @Riseth to feel better about it
Chop this down by 30-35m and I'd feel a lot better about it.
