I wonder how lease up is going now that they’re a solid 6 months into it. This is on a Sunday at 8 PM. The fully lit up13th floor is an amenity floor without residents.

True, all three levels of government are part of the problem and all they do is basically point fingers at each other.

The province has inadequate mental health or social support, Edmonton does minimal community policing in the area and the Federal laws on drugs are inadequate too.

Agree to all points.

- Edmonton only enforces laws that generate revenue.

- Alberta wants to spend the least amount of money as possible to keep the province semi functional.

- The Feds doesn't seem to think crime should be a punishable offense.

I really think the podium of the Parks is the most monumental of all of Edmonton's towers (or at least the fully residential ones).

Also interesting to see this plaque commemorating the El Mirador apartments.

Seeing it from this angle almost gives me the feeling that this is a modern take on the old CN tower.

What a difference a balcony railing makes. If they had cheaped out like falcon, this would have been a very different look.
