For sure, I've all but given up on the eastern portion of downtown (old chinatown) and it seems like the city has as well.As others have mentioned, much of this parking is going to be replaced by the Warehouse Park, among other projects.
The amount of surface parking in the western part of downtown is going to reduce significantly in the next year or 2. There will still be some of course, but it will be much more filled in very soon.
The eastern part of downtown is far, far worse for this.
The City seems to spend a lot of time coming up with grand plans that I'm not sure are connected to reality and they don't seem to be able to make them happen. For sure, I've all but given up on the eastern portion of downtown (old chinatown) and it seems like the city has as well.
Off the top of my head. The City seems to spend a lot of time coming up with grand plans that I'm not sure are connected to reality and they don't seem to be able to make them happen.
I assume you are talking about Peak Residencies and the Falcon One. What are the others?Yes, lets take a moment to celebrate some wins. We now have four new high rise residential projects recently completed (one a conversion of old office space), all in the downtown core.
