Work completed this week:
• Completed permanent water service connections to properties.
• TTC continued setting streetcar rails.

• Crews commenced pouring top layer of concrete for TTC streetcar rails.

Over the weekend:
• TTC will continue setting streetcar rails.

Looking ahead to next week:
• TTC will continue setting streetcar rails.

• Crews will continue pouring top layer of concrete for TTC streetcar rails.

The project is on track for reopening of the intersection in mid August.

(I think the TTC will not run streetcars until early September due to testing etc.)

I have to say that this kind of communication from the TTC is perfect (or close to it)

These signs have appeared all along Front Street in St Lawrence. Not sure the city would allow me to put a 'poster' on the sidewalk and it is 'interesting' it is also branded with the councillor's name!

This is ableist. Many disabled people use scooters as mobility devices. Does Chris Moise even care about disabled people?

He was one of the people putting them on the sidewalk and posted about it to Bluesky the other day, where it did not go over well, so he turned off replies and then disabled allowing people to quote re-post it (versus just re-sharing it without comment) lol

That neighbourhood is already dealing with people opposed to bike lanes on the Esplanade of all places. Moise's signs seem really tone deaf to the frustration being felt in that area with accommodating these new lanes. How these signs help quell those concerns is beyond me. If anything he's stoking residents anger and misplaced worries. Wonderful.

This in Moise's newsletter today. Note the decals were 'printed by the City of Toronto' NOT that they are FROM ...

I think this can be an interesting exercise in seeing where Moise's office thinks is a priority and where isn't. For example, Queen & Church got a little decal but Jarvis and Queen didn't, and neither did Richmond & Sherbourne. ;)
