It would certainly discourage car use on King... Not entirely bike friendly though! (And yes, I know you're kidding)It love the way this looks. Forget the concrete, they should just run the streetcars like this! Industrial chic.

I have to say that this kind of communication from the TTC is perfect (or close to it)Work completed this week:
• Completed permanent water service connections to properties.
• TTC continued setting streetcar rails.
• Crews commenced pouring top layer of concrete for TTC streetcar rails.
Over the weekend:
• TTC will continue setting streetcar rails.
Looking ahead to next week:
• TTC will continue setting streetcar rails.
• Crews will continue pouring top layer of concrete for TTC streetcar rails.
The project is on track for reopening of the intersection in mid August.
(I think the TTC will not run streetcars until early September due to testing etc.)
He was one of the people putting them on the sidewalk and posted about it to Bluesky the other day, where it did not go over well, so he turned off replies and then disabled allowing people to quote re-post it (versus just re-sharing it without comment) lolThese signs have appeared all along Front Street in St Lawrence. Not sure the city would allow me to put a 'poster' on the sidewalk and it is 'interesting' it is also branded with the councillor's name!

I would have thought so! Just adding a City of Toronto logo to a 'personal ad' does not make it official! Are there by-laws prohibiting people from affixing signage like this without some kind of official approval?
This in Moise's newsletter today. Note the decals were 'printed by the City of Toronto' NOT that they are FROM ...
