This seems like a flavour I could get behind...........while awaiting your review.....where did you get this one?

***

On the Lobster one.......its a funny thing, I don't mind Lobster at all, though don't get it all that often as I consider the effort to reward ratio off.

But part of the reason for that is that Lobster is really chicken breast of the sea. Properly cooked its inoffensive, but bland, it takes on the flavour you give it, which in the case of lobster is usually butter.

I suspect you would recognize the taste of it more if they put powdered butter, LOL........... Or they could call it Lobster Roll and just throw in gobs of celery salt and suggest you dip it in mayo.

There's a limited edition Chile Lime Crispers out right now that are really good with some cheese and salsa.

Ok.......

@Towered 's post above reminds me he owes us all a review of the Lemon-Basil chips.........

Come to think of it, I don't remember a review of the Poppin 'Lime ones either.

Which also reminds me......

@evandyk was supposed to tell us about those Star Anise chips.

PS, I couldn't find those......when I was at the market.... (or the Wild Oregano)

You know, the flavour wasn't bad. I wish it was a bit more complex, and a bit spicier, but it had some kick.....and was vaguely interesting.

Unfortunately, poppadoms have never been my thing as I really associate the texture with Styrofoam. Its a bit less pronounced with the mini ones...........but the texture is still off-putting to me. .

I haven't actually opened the anise chips yet! I bought them because I was having people over, but someone else bought and opened chips, so they're still in the cupboard. I picked up these at McEwans and opened them this week. The onion flavour is quite good, but the vinegar aspect is a little too aggressively tangy for me.

I also have one of these sitting in the cupboard, maybe for this weekend:

I actually opened up a bag of the PC Korma flavoured chips. Very tasty! The curry flavour doesn't knock you over, and there's a perfect level of spiciness.
I tried them, too. I liked the flavor but I'm not sure about the texture of the ruffled chips, not as crispy as I would have expected.

The lemon basil ones are nice, but didn't knock my socks off. Flavour is a bit too subtle.

The poppin' sweet lime ones were ok, but not something I'm craving to eat again.

The real crime I'm seeing is the weak availability of Frank Brings Home The Bacon (maple bacon) chips at Canadian Tire.
