I'm not sure a female POC, no matter their political leanings would win in Nov 2028 (unless both sides field one, akin to Haley vs. Harris). I'd like to see the 44 year old Mayor Pete as prez, but an openly gay candidate has a big hill to climb. I would love to be proven wrong, but the US is a very racist, homophobic and misogynistic place, esp. in the anonymity of the polling booth were our darkest inclinations can run free of personal accountability.

If, playing to my worst assumptions above I had to pick a Democrat white, straight male born after 1980 to contest whatever monster the GOP fields in Nov 2028, it's Jon Ossoff. So far.... Maybe Jake Auchincloss.

There are photos/video on Twitter, Reddit and Facebook (probably elsewhere too) showing large chunks of blue paint coming off the bottom of the reflecting pool :D I guess dumping all that hydrogen peroxide in the pool to kill off the algae wasn't such a great idea.
