Tough stretch of road there. The old Knox site still sitting in a state of partial excavation(yet another building gone replaced by a crater), the old restaurant, which at least half is now a medical Center. Dry cleaners not really adding much. There’s some good along there too but feels like there’s lots of opportunity.

There is a MASSIVE opportunity on the east side of 109st from Whyte to Sask Dr with 3-4 major infill opportunities that should be 4-6 storey mixed-use ASAP and really bring some new energy to what is a rather suburban roadway.

Here's hoping we see someone harness that.

Ummmm Westrich? 😉

(Also, I say this repeatedly, but I really hope BRT leads to a positive transformation of 109 St.)

(I also hope that Devin Dreeshen doesn’t try to shutdown BRT as it will mean a reduction in car lanes.)

Since when is Devin Dreeshen the Mayor of Edmonton??? I don't recall being able to vote for him municipally.

Edmonton is a city with a lot of opportunities, perhaps the problem is too many, but this is actually a very good area, close to transit, the university and downtown. It is a bit surprising to me that nothing has happened here yet.

I fear the UCP’s appetite for interfering with municipal affairs knows no bounds (ex. Green Line, municipal political parties, bike lanes, banning electronic vote tabulators, etc).
And in federal affairs. At least they're really nailing the provincial government part of it, securing that children's Tylenol and all.

We almost bought that eastern more house and it is in good condition, as is the other, alas.

Not sure which project it is, but someone built a bit too tall and are bringing in a team right now to 'adjust grade'.

79th Ave. Between 105 and 105 street.

Two sets of four houses boarded and fenced up with demo permits.

Anyone know what is planned to be built?
