Or pickleball like Ritchie and others do inside their outdoor rink. But the park is done. Young kids would lile the skating pond along with the sledding and playground.A full sized hockey rink would have made more sense. Easier to get support behind that. Could have also doubled as a soccer pitch in the summer.
I'm pretty sure warranty doesn't cover vandalism, unless security is part of the Contract. City will be paying for any repairs due to vandalism.Thank you for reporting. The park continues to be under warranty so likely any damage should be repairs, but it's frustrating none the less.
On the ice rink, DECL board discussed the possibility, it wouldn't be until next year if we have the capacity (we're just volunteers).
