Did anyone watch the mayoral candidates' debate?
Was in the audience. There was a group of ~10 people scream cheering every time Omar Mohammed spoke, despite the clear instruction at the start to not applaud/boo candidates.

Was not impressed by his responses or his "fans". Unsurprisingly, only Knack and Cartmell had serious responses.

I feel like it is a vanity project for him and his answers seemed somewhat repetitive without enough depth. There were four people with experience in government and one out of his depth and I feel it showed.

Having a cheering squad might have helped boost his ego or confidence, but it didn't improve the quality of his responses.

How did Walters present himself?

Knack seemed kind of quiet and otherwise the defender of tax increases the status quo, which I don't think will go over well with a lot of voters.

However, there were four candidates here running to be change candidates to various degrees, so perhaps the vote split may work for him.

Jaffer seemed energetic and more polished than expected, which is probably also not good news for Cartmell.

Knack has basically said he supports continual tax increases and criticizing others for trying to come up with solutions to prevent increases.
