True true, hmmmmmm - does Smitty have any other members of her caucus representing Red Deer? We know LaGrange got RD a new hospital....wonder who else....."because RD's population went up 3,000 in the last 5 years - don't you know....so that's why they are getting a $1.5B hospital expansion."

Smith said later in the evening that the government had heard similar feedback and recently changed the surveys on a potential provincial pension plan and police force to include a way to indicate opposition to those ideas.
“We did hear last night that there was a survey update that needed to have an ‘other’ or ‘none of the above,'” she said, adding 12,666 comment sections had been filled out on the survey since it launched on June 24."
It feels vindicating to have this called out. Interesting to hear the support for centralized tax collection, I wouldn't think the layman would care about that.

Today I'm reminded why I try to avoid driving in St. Albert. Once again, the damn Frogs have closed Villeneuve Road for more construction, but there are no detours around it. I ended up having to turn around and go back to Ray Gibbons Drive.

There is but you have to read the signs. One coming in from the west point down Ray ribbons the east at the next light. Coming north the same thing. Going west you turn south and drive between Northridge and deer ridge.Today I'm reminded why I try to avoid driving in St. Albert. Very odd not to go the final 1km of relatively easy work to Rabbit Hill, yup, but still great to see this started!
