Microwave and radiowave radiation are non-ionizing and therefore not dangerous to people or animals. We have access to all the world's knowledge in a device in our hands, and people believe the conspiracy theories and anti-science. It's frustrating
To be fair “non-ionizing” does not mean harmless (though 5G fears are unfounded).

Sure, Infra red can cause burns. But the fears these people have are effects caused by ionizing radiation (beyond blue)

Just the kind of 'modern nonsense' that Mr Holyday would be expected to oppose - probably by sending telegrams to someone. https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/re...cle_fe435f9e-9252-419e-803a-51d6dc371030.html
Wonder if Mr. Holyday still uses his rotary phone in his office?

Dosage dependant isn’t it? Too much of any kind of radiation is too much radiation. IMO

There’s a reason that the frame of microwave ovens are essentially a faraday cage.

Power plays a role here, too.

Fair. Power and frequency. But (broadly) it's the UV side of the spectrum that is dangerous, especially in the "it causes cancer" sense, that most people worry about.

The only name that sticks out to me is Neethan Shan.

Anu Sriskandarajah, a TDSB trustee and wife of Councillor Parthi Kandavel, should be formidable, as should Zakir Patel, another Scarborough TDSB trustee.

School board trustee is a long-standing launching pad for higher elected (and better compensated) gigs. Notable TDSB trustee alumni include the aforementioned Kandavel, Olivia Chow, Josh Matlow and Kathleen Wynne.

also... Chris Moise, Kristyn Wong-Tam, Ausma Malik

In 2014, Michael Ford was running for council, but dropped out to let Rob Ford run in that ward. Michael ran for school trustee and won. He then resigned that seat to run for council in a byelection when Rob died in 2016. He went on to run for MPP in 2022 and became the Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism. Meteoric rise, which I'm sure was all about merit and not about his (assumed) last name at all.
