I'm actually suprised Porter pulled the route. I didn't think it would be super popular, but they know when to pull a poor performing route instead of flying empty.

Lets face it, the demand wasn't there, especially to a smaller destination like that.

Updated Winter schedule.

As reported, Porter removed Nassau. They will now deploy that aircraft to Fort Lauderdale instead, making it a 5x weekly route.
Happy to see they didn't remove any capacity!

Forgot to mention before but this is a really nice layout. Any chance of updating it with an arrivals schedule?

Porter has a much better chance of making FLL work than NAS. Historically, NAS would only work with a second destination tag on like Freeport or something else. Without a package deal (flight/hotel) it really wouldn't have much chance of success.

It'll be interesting to see how they're connected to the terminal, without a second floor.
I assume they bought something like this, then extended the ramp a bit so that the climb up to an A321 or 737 isn't too steep. Neither of those, especially the 737, is very high off the ground.

Thanks for the Images.

So it looks like both jet bridges will be connected via Gate C via a tunnel instead of it being directly tied to each of the gate entrances.

I'm still curious how they plan on connecting it to the International Arrivals section without cutting out international baggage drop off. Is it even possible or will passengers still have to walk outside to get into customs?

I drew up a quick mockup of how it looks so far.

The International return flights will have to walk outside to int'l tunnel. I heard that they were looking at some sort of temporary covered walkway but I don't think that's happening now. They're also going to be moving the planes around once a bridge is available. So as one plane leaves, they'll tow a plane over to that bridge.
