Porter adds for Winter 2026-2027

Montego Bay (MBJ) - 2x weekly (new)

Cancun (CUN) - 6x weekly (increase from 3)
Ft. Lauderdale (FLL) - 7 weekly (increase from 5)
Orlando (MCO) - 7x weekly (increase from 5)

Puerto Vallarta (PVR) - 2x weekly (no change)
Montego Bay twice a week? I guess the first flight is for pax and the second flight is for the bags? Interesting move running an E-jet to Jamaica. If you've ever worked an MBJ destined flight, you know what I'm talking about.

So no YYC at all for the Winter , that is unfortunate. Guess we still have Westjet. YVR still on though?

Porter Cuts for Winter 2026-2027

Montreal - 1x daily (down from 2x daily)

Calgary
Edmonton
Saint John’s
Winnipeg

Looks like they want to feed most domestic flights via Ottawa and Montreal — although fares are currently maxed out on connections so I’m not sure if this is the case.

This isn’t surprising given the loads on YEG/YYC this winter weren’t strong at all.

I will miss the direct Edmonton flight but atleast there is an option to connect. Funny enough, I’ll be doing a connection flight via YHU-YHM this summer.

Edmonton and Calgary continue until January 5th, so it will atleast cover the holidays. As of now, they remain daily until then but I suspect the frequencies will be adjusted if bookings arent strong.

Not surprised. Too expensive. Canadians pay some of the highest airfares in the world, because of taxes and fees.
