Unpopular opinion, but I grew up in Quebec in the 90s when Dunkin was pretty much everywhere (at least in QC it was, not sure about out West), so I’m excited to try it again when it comes back.

Was Dunkin Donuts ever in Edmonton? The first time I ever tried them was during a trip to NYC maybe 20 years ago; I never recalled seeing any presence for them in YEG during my lifetime, but perhaps they had a location or two outside of my regular orbit.

The Starbucks off Terrace Rd used to be a Dunkin' Donuts in the early 00s.

Yes I recall it was here in the 1980's and I believe in the 1990's or maybe even a while after that too. It was around, some but I feel not a lot of locations.

I don't believe so, born and raised here and don’t recall any…….we did have a Blimpie’s sub shop in the early 2000’s for a short period of time but no Dunkin….sorry @northlands

Regardless, it’ll be nice to see a dozen or so show up and put some Tim’s out of business…..just for being sssoooo bad…

The last time I wine to Dunkin’s I found it so strange that you had to open little paper sugar packets and creamer cups for you coffee as they had no other way to sweetened and cream one’s coffee .

I don't think I will go there a lot, but it could be a nice break or change from Tim's Homeless. Some of their locations really need attention and to be better managed.

I'll avoid Dunkin' Donuts like the plague and will only venture into Timmy Ho's if I'm on the road and there's no other choice. Otherwise, I'll continue to grab my java and pastries at Fawkes, Blenz, Felice, Square One and the occasional Second Cup.

A&W coffee and breakfast is criminally underrated, and they're everywhere.
